Job Description

Step into a rewarding speech-language pathology opportunity that combines flexibility, expert collaboration, and meaningful impact on early learners. This contract position is ideal for a qualified SLP holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who values dynamic involvement with both families and preschoolers.

In this role, you’ll dedicate approximately 75% of your time supporting Early Childhood Special Education, split between performing Part C initial evaluations—often conducted within family homes—and working in a vibrant preschool classroom. The unique nature of these responsibilities means no two days are exactly alike, offering variety and ongoing professional growth. Your typical hours will fall between Monday and Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a true work-life balance.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and SLP-CCC required
  • Previous experience in educational or early childhood settings
  • Familiarity with Initial Part C evaluations strongly preferred
  • Comfort and professionalism conducting in-home assessments with families of children ages birth to three
  • Effective communication, compassion, and adaptability for both family and classroom collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and complete initial Part C evaluations for infants and toddlers, often in family home environments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to create targeted intervention plans
  • Deliver direct speech-language services and support within a preschool classroom setting
  • Document progress, maintain thorough and timely evaluation records, and participate in ongoing student assessment meetings

This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young children and their families through expert speech-language evaluation and support. Use your clinical expertise and passion to help shape early language and cognitive development.
