Job Description
Step into a meaningful role supporting early learners through a rewarding speech-language pathology contract opportunity. We’re seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential services to children ages 3-5 in an engaging, school-based early childhood setting. This position covers a 12-week assignment, working three days per week for a total of 22.5 hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced schedule during the fall season.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license (required to be considered)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based or early childhood settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
- Ability to start near early September and fulfill the contract through late November
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to a caseload of preschool-aged children (3-5 years)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Facilitate engaging, evidence-based intervention in both individual and small group formats
- Participate in meetings and planning sessions as needed for comprehensive student support
- Ensure a nurturing, inclusive environment for all learners
