Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Long-Term Substitute SLP. This contract position offers you the chance to make a direct impact on children ages 3-5 within a dynamic and supportive education setting. You’ll provide critical speech and language services, collaborating with dedicated staff while engaging with families to promote growth and communication.
This role begins in early September and continues for approximately 12 weeks, with a focused, manageable caseload of ECSE students. Enjoy a consistent schedule of three days per week, set at 22.5 weekly hours. As a valued team member, your expertise will help shape an engaging and inclusive atmosphere where every child is supported.
Qualified applicants will demonstrate the following:
- Hold a valid Minnesota SLP license (required for submission)
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy in early childhood or school-based settings is preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement IEP goals for children ages 3-5
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills for maintaining documentation and progress reports
- A resume highlighting relevant experience with early intervention or ECSE populations
Responsibilities include:
