Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Minnesota SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable working with diverse student needs across K-8
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to create optimal learning environments
- Provide both group and individual therapy to address students’ unique needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input on student goals and progress
- Educate school staff and families about communication strategies
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students as they develop new skills
