What You Bring:

  • Active Minnesota SLP and Department of Education certification (required)
  • Experience providing school-based speech-language therapy, ideally in elementary and middle school environments
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills across a spectrum of disabilities

  • Ability to adapt to student needs and maintain detailed documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse K-8 caseload, implementing evidence-based practices
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each student’s communication goals
  • Maintain thorough records, manage Medicaid billing as needed, and track progress data
  • Participate in meetings, contribute to student planning, and advocate for best practices
  • Adapt therapy to a wide range of student abilities and disability levels
