Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Burnsville, Minnesota. About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and support services for students within a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that support students’ communication, academic, and social success.

Job Duties

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs as applicable
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and IEP requirements
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Complete assessments, evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to support speech, language, fluency, articulation, and communication development
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure through the Minnesota Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or completion of required clinical fellowship requirements
  • Completion of supervised clinical experience requirements
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery models
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
