Qualifications & Experience:

• Current South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-categorical or requisite endorsements
• Experience supporting students in moderate or self-contained settings, as well as in resource or co-taught rooms
• Ability to adapt instruction to various age groups (elementary, middle school, high school, PreK)
• Previous experience or strong interest in working with special populations across multiple school sites
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Role Details & Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instructional support in special and moderate needs settings:
  • Elementary School: 8:30am–3:35pm, Special Setting 2, moderate needs/co-taught resource rooms
  • Middle School: 7:30am–2:45pm, Multi-cat self-contained classrooms
  • High School: 8:30am–3:35pm, Special Setting 2/moderate needs
  • PreK: 7:30am–2:00pm, EC certified/endorsed roles
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize best practices for classroom management and differentiated instruction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Preference given to onsite candidates; remote considered closer to school start
