Opening #1: Self-Contained Classroom
Work with a small group of K-2nd graders in a nurturing environment, helping each student reach their full potential. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong connections and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of 8 students.

Opening #2: Resource Teacher
Guide and support middle school students (caseload of 15) within a resource setting, providing targeted interventions and accommodations. You’ll serve as a key collaborator among students, staff, and families, fostering an inclusive environment and equitable learning experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for the state
• Previous experience working with students requiring individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to creating a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
• Organizational skills for case management and maintaining compliance documentation

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs; monitor student progress and provide regular updates
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods for individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
