Special Education Teacher - Heath Springs, SC

Make a difference in the lives of students across multiple school sites near Heath Springs, SC through this contract Special Education teaching opportunity. Schools are seeking dedicated professionals to serve students in settings ranging from elementary to high school, including PreK and moderate to resource/co-taught classrooms.

Available roles include:

• 1 Elementary setting (8:30–3:35): Moderate classroom to co-taught/resource room
• 2 Middle School positions (7:30–2:45): Multi-category self-contained classrooms
• 1 High School position (8:30–3:35): Moderate special education setting
• 2 PreK positions (7:30–2:00)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License
• Multi-categorical or required certifications/endorsements (EC Cert/endorsement is required)
• Experience working in special education settings (elementary, middle, high school, or PreK)
• Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to provide a blinded resume and copy of certifications
• Indicate preferred age group with application submission
• Available for onsite employment (virtual considered closer to school start if needed)

• Implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
