Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License required
• Degree certification in both Special Education and Early Childhood Education (for EC PCD Teacher, ages 3-4)
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement (for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3)
• Experience working in a K-3 or early childhood educational environment strongly preferred
• Passion for creating inclusive and nurturing classroom communities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth
• Enthusiasm for adapting curriculum and instruction to support diverse learning needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with special needs on-site at the primary school
• Develop and implement appropriate IEPs, monitor progress, and document outcomes according to state and federal requirements
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and team members
• Use evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to promote student success
• Maintain a structured, supportive classroom while adapting to the unique needs of each learner
• Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach
