Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
- Experience working in a special education setting (schools preferred)
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with faculty, families, and support staff
- Flexibility to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Comfortable with both in-person and remote technology tools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver targeted instruction tailored to students with various disabilities
- Develop, update, and monitor IEPs per state and federal guidelines
- Assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional delivery as needed
- Partner with general education teachers to promote inclusion and provide necessary accommodations
- Foster a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages growth and independence
- Communicate proactively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student performance
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all institutional policies
