Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education license
• Required credentials/certifications for Special Education teaching in South Carolina
• Experience supporting students with a range of behavioral and educational needs is highly valued
• Adaptability to work across all age groups
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for students with varying challenges
• Provide differentiated instruction to ensure all learners make meaningful progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
• Track, document, and report on student achievements and progress
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and IEP meetings
