Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by supporting students’ growth and learning as a contract School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This assignment runs from December 1st, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, and offers an engaging, collaborative atmosphere with an opportunity to work across 2-3 schools in the Tracy area. You'll work a steady schedule of 37.5 hours weekly, focusing on conducting evaluations, collaborating with educational staff, and helping shape positive student outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Previous experience in a school psychology role is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Proven expertise with student evaluations and special education support
  • Adaptable nature, with comfort working across multiple campuses

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments for individual students
  • Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor IEPs
  • Delivering consultative support to teachers, students, and families
  • Serving as a resource for behavioral intervention and crisis management strategies
  • Documenting services and maintaining compliance with school policies and special education law
  • Traveling between 2-3 assigned school sites as part of your weekly schedule
