Job Description
Embark on a meaningful assignment as a skilled School Psychologist, working full-time during the second semester in a vibrant educational setting. Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience supporting student well-being in educational environments
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing reports, and participating in IEP processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage counseling responsibilities and address student behavioral needs
- Flexibility to work with various grade levels (to be determined) and adjust to multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and articulate findings clearly in written reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and compassion to individualized planning
- Support students through behavior management strategies and provide targeted counseling services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions tailored for student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Foster safe, inclusive environments and promote positive social-emotional development
