School Psychologist - Irvine, California

What we’re seeking:

• Valid state credential for School Psychology
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings
• Strong understanding of psycho-educational assessment and special education procedures
• Excellent communication and consultative skills to work with staff, students, and families
• Capacity to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior support plans
• Flexibility to adapt within dynamic school environments
• Ability to start quickly and commit to the contract period

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing vital input on student needs and goals
• Deliver counseling and support services for students
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop student support plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Engage in problem-solving teams and assist with crisis intervention when needed
