This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services at a single, dedicated school site. Start mid to late September and enjoy a role that extends at least through January, with the possibility to continue throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid credential as a School Psychologist in California
  • Experience working with preschool or early elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong background in assessment, intervention, and consultation for students with special needs
  • Familiarity with IEP process and special education law
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting equitable, inclusive education environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored support
  • Provide group and individual counseling as needed for targeted students
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral interventions
  • Consult with staff on strategies for student engagement and success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
