Job Description
Make an immediate impact supporting early learners as a School Psychologist in a special education preschool program. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services at a single, dedicated school site. Start mid to late September and enjoy a role that extends at least through January, with the possibility to continue throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid credential as a School Psychologist in California
- Experience working with preschool or early elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong background in assessment, intervention, and consultation for students with special needs
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education law
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting equitable, inclusive education environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored support
- Provide group and individual counseling as needed for targeted students
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral interventions
- Consult with staff on strategies for student engagement and success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
