Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students and teams for the second semester of the school year. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, beginning January 4, 2027, and running through May 28, 2027. You'll provide essential school psychologist services within a dynamic educational setting, helping foster positive outcomes for students.
Your key responsibilities will include completing assessments, conducting testing, and contributing to formal report writing. You’ll also actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families. While specific grade levels and site assignments are to be determined, you’ll play a vital part in supporting a diverse student population. Additionally, you will address some behavioral and counseling needs, contributing to individual and group interventions as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (California PPS or equivalent)
- Previous experience with psychological testing in a school setting
- Strong skills in report writing and IEP processes
- Capacity to handle behavioral interventions and counseling services
- Adaptable to working with a range of grade levels (K-12)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Able to commit to the entire assignment term
