Step into a key role supporting students and staff as a dedicated school psychologist for the current academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a school community by delivering essential assessment and consultation services in person.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough psychoeducational assessments, completing detailed classroom observations, and collaborating on all required aspects of the assessment process. You will prepare clear, detailed psychoeducational reports and participate in IEP team meetings to present findings and offer recommendations that help guide each student’s educational journey. Ongoing collaboration with district personnel, school staff, and families will be integral to your success in meeting the diverse needs of the student body.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or state licensure as a school psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations within a school setting
  • Strong skills in report writing and interpretation of assessment data
  • Ability to participate effectively as part of interdisciplinary IEP teams
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to in-person work—remote or virtual candidates will not be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and score cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Conduct classroom observations and gather information from multiple sources
  • Write comprehensive psychoeducational reports
  • Attend IEP meetings to share assessment results and eligibility findings
  • Make recommendations for interventions, services, or accommodations as needed
  • Partner with school staff and families to support student success
