This role is based at a single school site and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education. The assignment is set to begin in mid to late September, with a duration extending to at least January—potentially continuing through the end of the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential/licensure as required for school practice in California
• Experience or strong interest working in preschool or early childhood settings
• Background in supporting students with special needs, particularly within an educational context
• Demonstrated skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organization abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational and psychological assessments for preschool-aged children
• Develop reports and recommendations that guide individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to create effective interventions
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and eligibility discussions
• Provide direct and consultative services to children, parents, and school personnel
