Step into a rewarding role impacting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Loves Park, IL. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the full academic year, offering diverse experiences with either elementary or early childhood caseloads. With three positions open, there's a chance to collaborate with passionate colleagues and play a pivotal part in student growth.

Your schedule will align with the school calendar, starting with orientation on August 3rd and continuing through the academic year (students return August 11th and the role concludes May 28th). The position offers 37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and meaningful engagement with students as you help them achieve communication milestones.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) active or eligibility to obtain
  • Open to ASHA CCC holders and strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Experience with school-age or early childhood populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments and therapy within a school setting
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
  • Deliver therapy through evidence-based best practices tailored to each student’s needs
