Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure as mandated for SLPs
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop targeted intervention plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover and generalization of strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support classroom environments by providing staff with strategies to promote communication access
