Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in both elementary and middle school settings. This onsite role is a full-time position for a maternity leave coverage, running from September 4, 2026, through December 11, 2026. You'll be part of a dedicated team, providing essential therapy and support to help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid and active Illinois SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students at the elementary and middle school levels
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in an onsite school environment five days a week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload of students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
  • Create an inclusive and engaging environment that reflects sensitivity to diverse student needs
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with all school and state regulations
