Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment supporting school-aged learners near Sycamore, IL. Provide high-quality therapy services while working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students build confidence and achieve communication goals.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress effectively
  • Flexible approach and commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Conduct regular evaluations and communicate student progress to parents and staff
  • Provide support and resources to teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records and documentation in line with school requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and trainings as needed
