Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Illinois SLP license (REQUIRED)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with elementary and middle school populations
  • Ability to work full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week)
  • Solid organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students on a maternity leave coverage
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
