You’ll play an essential role in providing direct speech-language services, connecting with students and staff in various campuses located near Shorewood and in surrounding areas including Morris, Gardner, and south Wilmington, IL.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings, with confidence in IEP procedures
  • Ability to work full-time onsite and travel between multiple school locations as needed
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete IEP reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Consult and coordinate with staff at multiple sites; flexibility to shift between locations during the week
  • Adapt intervention and communication strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
