Job Description

Passionate about making a difference for students with significant behavioral and emotional needs? This contract opportunity places you at the heart of a transformative initiative, working directly with students who benefit most from targeted behavioral and mental health interventions. As a valued School Psychologist within the Promising Students Program, you will serve as both clinician and collaborator, applying trauma-informed practices to help students overcome barriers and thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

What we’re seeking:

  • Certified School Psychologist credentials
  • Experience with trauma-informed, behavioral, and counseling interventions in school settings
  • Proficiency conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments, including FBAs
  • Familiarity developing and monitoring positive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Strong consultation skills with educators and families
  • Ability to participate in MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 processes
  • Effective crisis response and safety planning experience
  • Capacity for data-driven decision-making and collaborative problem-solving

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing targeted individual and small-group counseling to students
  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Completing Functional Behavioral Assessments and supporting the development of BIPs
  • Consulting with school teams to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Collaborating with families, teachers, and administrators to ensure holistic care
  • Participating in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a trusted team member
  • Assisting with safety and crisis response, as well as transition planning for students reintegrating into their home schools

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour commitment where you'll work alongside dedicated professionals eager to support student success.
