Occupational Therapist School Setting - Ladson, SC

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school-based OT or pediatrics preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with teachers, students, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to fit different ages and learning styles
• Proficiency in IEP processes and documentation
• Passion for empowering students toward greater independence and school participation

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs
• Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, provide written evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Travel between College Park Elementary and a secondary site, both manageable within the 37.5-hour weekly schedule
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students
