Occupational Therapist School Setting in Goose Creek, SC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and active SC Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Skill in adapting therapy to support diverse learning needs
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with special education staff, teachers, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary level
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success and facilitate classroom participation
• Complete timely and thorough evaluations, documentation, and required reports
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to educational planning
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills
• Adjust services as needed for a smaller caseload at a secondary site
