What you’ll need:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico
- Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation best practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a K-12 academic environment
- Commitment to supporting students’ individual needs and school success
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students onsite
- Conducting evaluations and participating in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with school personnel and families to implement tailored interventions
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation as required by school and state regulations
- Providing resources, strategies, and support to teachers to enhance student achievement
