Your assignment runs from August 17th through June 4th, offering full-time, onsite instruction within a supportive educational environment. You’ll be working among dedicated educators and specialists, fostering inclusion and academic achievement.

What you'll bring:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification for the appropriate age group
• Previous experience teaching special education in school settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Passion for advocating on behalf of students with disabilities
• Commitment to collaborative team practices and professional growth

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to students on your assigned caseload
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating clearly with families and staff
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
• Foster positive classroom management and encourage student independence
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school events as required
