Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) serving multiple school sites in the Lees Summit, MO area for the fall semester. This full-time position spans August 25th through December 18th, allowing you to enrich your skills while making a meaningful impact across diverse educational settings.

Utilize your expertise in school-based OT practices to provide high-quality, individualized services to a caseload of approximately 32 students, covering roughly 800 minutes of direct therapy per week. You’ll enjoy flexibility in scheduling your student sessions, working with oversight at the start of the school year to ensure that all assigned students receive weekly support. Schools included in this assignment are elementary, middle, and high school settings, giving you a varied and rewarding experience. Daily hours typically run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 7.5 hours per day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri (required)
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based OT, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and staff
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple locations
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a strong commitment to serving students

Primary Responsibilities:
