Step into a meaningful role supporting students by providing occupational therapy services across multiple school sites for the upcoming academic term. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with students in diverse educational environments, helping them achieve greater independence and success.

In this role, you'll work with approximately 32 direct students, delivering around 800 minutes of therapy services each week. While you'll cover several school sites, including elementary, middle, and high school locations, you'll have the flexibility to design your own weekly schedule. With leadership support available, your schedule will be coordinated at the start of the year to ensure all assigned students receive services consistently. The full-time schedule is anticipated to be approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, averaging 7.5 hours per day.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities for managing a flexible and multi-site caseload
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centered therapy services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve students at various school sites, providing individualized occupational therapy interventions
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress for each student
  • Work cooperatively with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student growth
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per state and district requirements
  • Adapt your schedule and services to meet the changing needs of students and schools
