Special Education Teacher | Clarksburg, Maryland

Two full-time openings are available for passionate Special Education Teachers skilled at fostering inclusive learning environments and providing tailored instruction. This contract position begins August 17th and runs through June 4th, offering an opportunity to play a critical role throughout the academic year.

You will be placed onsite at Oakdale Middle School or another school to be determined, both within a collaborative and welcoming district. The Oakdale Middle School assignment supports 15 students in the Learning for Life Program (7:30 am - 3:30 pm), while the second role serves a self-contained elementary classroom (9:00 am - 3:30 pm) with a caseload of 10 students.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in working with diverse learning needs and a commitment to helping each student reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification for applicable age group
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Background in classroom management and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dedication to fostering a positive and productive classroom climate
