Special Education Teacher - Salem, New Hampshire

Four enthusiastic special education professionals are sought for this elementary-focused need, offering the chance to create meaningful connections and provide individualized instruction and interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher Certification (dual certification no longer required)
• Previous experience in early childhood and/or elementary settings is a plus
• Genuine passion for supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
• Flexibility and commitment to fostering positive educational outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Work closely with families, support staff, and general educators to support inclusion and learning goals
• Employ a variety of instructional and behavioral strategies to inspire and motivate students
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to special education regulations and deadlines
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
