Special Education Teacher in Okatie, SC

We are seeking dedicated Special Education professionals for three distinct contract opportunities: Intensive Support at the elementary level and Supplemental (Resource) roles at both middle and high school settings. These full-time positions offer the chance to work closely with passionate educators and students striving for success across a variety of needs.

Your contract would run from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, for 37.5 hours each week. All roles are onsite, ensuring you can build genuine connections with your students and colleagues.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience working with students in intensive support or resource settings highly preferred
• Ability to differentiate instruction and create inclusive lesson plans
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative approach and commitment to fostering positive learning environments
• Experience with IEP development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents, administrators, and support staff
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and encouraging classroom culture
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
