Special Education Teacher in Clio, SC

This contract assignment seeks dedicated Special Education professionals for two essential positions: EC PCD Teacher for ages 3-4 and an ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained Teacher for K-3. Both roles are located onsite and offer the chance to positively shape students’ educational journeys. The assignment runs through May 2027, offering a stable and rewarding experience within a supportive team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License (required)
• Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification (for EC PCD Teacher role)
• SPED Multi-Categorical Endorsement (for K-3 ID Mild/Mod self-contained position)
• Experience working with early learners and/or K-3 students in specialized education settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state guidelines
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Use evidence-based resources and strategies tailored to student abilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records and clear documentation of student progress
