Occupational Therapist School Setting - Merrimack, NH

Exciting opportunity for skilled Occupational Therapists to make a real impact in the lives of students during the 2026-2027 school year! We are seeking two dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive OT services in a collaborative, student-centered environment. This contract position offers full-time hours (35-37.5 per week), giving you the chance to support K-12 students across multiple school settings in a supportive community near Merrimack, NH.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse K-12 caseload
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable traveling between more than one school
• Passion for fostering student growth, independence, and participation

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapeutic OT services to students, aligned with IEP goals and district standards
• Administer assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, families, and other specialists
• Provide support for students with diverse needs, possibly including those utilizing AAC devices
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school protocol
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program development
