Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting students across elementary and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a balanced schedule and the chance to make a meaningful difference for approximately 25 students. You’ll work closely with both young learners and teens, providing essential occupational therapy services alongside a collaborative educational team.
Your week will be thoughtfully split: three days serving elementary students and two days working with the high school population. The assignment will run from September 1 through June 15, with an average of 31 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with previous experience in school-based settings
- Strong track record working across age groups, particularly elementary and high school students
- Competence in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability and professionalism; ready to step into a contract position and hit the ground running
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary and high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student IEPs and educational goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive records on student progress
- Consult with staff and families to provide strategies for classroom and home support
- Flexibly manage your daily schedule, focusing on complex and changing student needs
