Job Description
Step into a dynamic, part-time role as a school-based Occupational Therapist serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the 2026–2027 academic year. This in-person contract opportunity offers an engaging environment where your expertise will support young learners’ growth and development. With a flexible 1.5-day/week schedule—preferably Wednesdays and a half day on Tuesdays—you’ll have the chance to make a significant difference while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire
- Prior experience working in school settings highly valued
- Strong skills in evaluation, effective communication, and clear documentation
- Experience supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor the district’s COTA, offering guidance and support
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and re-evaluations for students
- Prepare and maintain progress reports and essential documentation
- Deliver a select number of direct occupational therapy services
- Collaborate with educators, special education professionals, and related service providers to enhance students’ educational experiences
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute knowledgeably to collaborative plans
