Step into a pivotal role supporting students' growth and independence as a part-time Occupational Therapist with a dynamic school community. This contract position runs from August 27, 2026 through June 2027, providing an opportunity to make a lasting impact over the course of the upcoming school year. The assignment involves working in-person with students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade, with a preferred schedule of Wednesdays and a half day on Tuesdays (with flexibility as needed).

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
  • Proficient communication skills and strength in evaluation and documentation
  • Prior supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and direction for the district's COTA
  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Complete progress reports and maintain all required documentation
  • Deliver a limited amount of direct services to students as identified by evaluations or IEPs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to enhance student support
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to coordinate student care
  • Adapt services to meet a diverse range of student needs across age groups
