Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged students as an Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave coverage from January through May 21. This assignment offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners. You’ll work across three sites with a caseload of approximately 35 preschoolers—perfect for professionals who thrive on variety and a dynamic environment. Caseload numbers may adjust slightly as preschool enrollments can fluctuate.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy licensure required
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT settings preferred
  • Prior work with early childhood or preschool populations highly valued
  • Strong collaborative and multidisciplinary team skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability as caseloads and student needs shift
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and create effective, individualized plans of care
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within preschool classroom environments
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support holistic student development
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with IEP goals, and contribute thoughtfully to meetings
  • Travel between three sites within the contract week as needed
