Occupational Therapist School Setting in Newport, NH

Step into a valuable leadership role within a collaborative educational environment supporting student access and growth. Two skilled Occupational Therapists are needed on a contract basis to provide professional supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) working in local public schools. This opportunity offers on-site engagement and the chance to guide a team dedicated to student well-being and compliance with educational standards.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license (New Hampshire)
• Demonstrated experience supervising COTAs
• Previous work in school-based settings supporting students and collaborating with education teams
• Knowledge of supervision documentation and administrative process requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver clinical supervision to up to two COTAs, with approximately 7 hours of supervision per COTA each month
• Visit district schools for on-site observation and supervision in accordance with best practices and compliance mandates
• Accurately complete documentation and administrative records related to supervision
• Work closely with COTAs and school staff to support consistent, effective service delivery
• Foster a professional atmosphere of communication, growth, and student-centered focus

This contract position provides up to 20 hours per month per OT and is conveniently based on-site in the local district. In addition, reimbursement for travel to and from the site is offered at the current IRS mileage rate, making it both professionally and logistically rewarding.
