Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year supporting K-12 students with their occupational therapy needs. This contract position, located within a vibrant district near Salem, NH, offers the chance to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and a supportive multidisciplinary team. You’ll have variety in your day as you support students across multiple school sites, and your expertise will play a key role in empowering students’ growth and independence.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or eligibility for licensure prior to the start of the school year
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to multiple school environments and changing caseload needs
- Knowledge or experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a plus
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse abilities at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a full-time caseload across more than one campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultative services for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success in the academic environment
- Document services and progress in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning for student growth
