School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Norwalk, Connecticut

Make a meaningful difference for K-8 students with communication challenges as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This engaging role focuses on providing exceptional support to a diverse group of 40 students with moderate to profound communication deficits, all at a single location near Norwalk, CT. Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid or eligible SLP licensure in Connecticut
• Prior experience in K-8 school settings preferred
• Proficiency with AAC devices is essential

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with a range of communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student engagement and progress
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Educate school staff on best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs
