What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Connecticut
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship may be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, though enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records according to district and professional guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure an integrated approach to student care
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
