Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across a dynamic school district for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract-based role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with a diverse K-12 caseload throughout the district. You’ll be based near Vernon Rockville, CT, providing essential speech and language services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists.

This position is ideal for professionals committed to fostering communication and learning in school-aged children. From August 2026 to June 2027, you’ll enjoy consistent hours, Monday through Friday, with a weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut
  • At least one year of pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong ability to manage and organize a K-12 caseload
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
  • Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate records and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide direct speech-language services across multiple school sites, supporting students’ academic and social development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school staff consultations as needed
