Job Description
Exciting full-time contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year! This role offers a chance to make a significant impact supporting the communication needs of K-12 students across a district-wide setting. Starting in August 2026 and continuing through June 2027, you’ll work Monday through Friday, with hours totaling 35-37.5 each week.
Your expertise with school-based speech services and strong communication skills will be vital in helping students achieve academic and social success. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to deliver appropriate interventions and support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related discipline
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, assessment, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multiple-disciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven intervention
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services for students in grades K-12
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating on individualized interventions
- Consult with educational staff and parents to implement effective strategies in the classroom
- Support students through tailored, evidence-based interventions addressing a range of communication needs
