Step into a meaningful contract role serving 7th–12th grade students as a dedicated school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is based at a single, well-supported location in the Eden Prairie area, offering you the opportunity to build strong connections with both students and staff over the course of the school year. You’ll support a caseload of approximately 33 students, delivering both direct and indirect services with a monthly service time estimated at 1,500 to 2,000 minutes. The assignment is set to begin on August 31st, ensuring a smooth transition into the academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota
  • Prior experience working in school settings, especially with middle and high school students
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
  • Proficiency with IEP development, progress monitoring, and service documentation
  • Comfortable managing a moderate caseload and a mix of direct and indirect service minutes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language services to students in 7th–12th grade
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Deliver therapy sessions and consult with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Maintain timely records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
