Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting early learners as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist! For 12 rewarding weeks starting September 7, 2026, you’ll deliver essential speech therapy services for a caseload of children aged 3–5 years in an Early Childhood Special Education setting. With a flexible, part-time schedule of three days per week (22.5 hours total), you’ll collaborate with families and educators to create positive outcomes during a pivotal period of early development.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Minnesota SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Direct experience with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), preferably with ages 3-5
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, especially in a preschool setting
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to early childhood students
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and document progress
  • Develop and review IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate generalization of skills
  • Provide consultative support and strategies for classroom implementation
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies
