Embark on an exciting opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working within a vibrant elementary school environment. Beginning this fall and continuing through next spring, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ communication growth and academic success. You’ll join a supportive educational setting located in the Grand Prairie, TX area, engaging with young learners and making a meaningful difference in their school experience.

In this contract-based role, you will:

What We’re Seeking:

  • Hold an active Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Possess direct experience providing assessment and therapy in K-12 school settings
  • Have the capacity to work 20 hours per week, following the academic calendar (September 1, 2026 – May 20, 2027)
  • Be able to provide all necessary credentialing documents, including fingerprint clearance (or willingness to complete)
  • Demonstrate strong evaluative and intervention skills
  • Show excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Please note: Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this role

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver testing and direct speech-language therapy for students with service plans at an elementary campus
  • Maintain accurate documentation and student records in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of service plans
